CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Berger called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m., and Sergeant Craig Adford, <br />Ventura County Sheriffs Office, led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Assistant General Manager Friedl, <br />Administrators Benton and Lewanda, Parks Superintendent Marchesano, <br />Recreation Manager Lindsey, Recreation Supervisor Olbrich, Recreation <br />Coordinator McAdam, Recreation Supervisor Engel and Executive Secretary <br />Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Special Recognition <br />Arline Miller, Volunteer <br />25 Years Of Service — Outdoor Unit <br />Olbrich, Recreation Supervisor of Conejo Community Center and the Outdoor Unit, <br />presented Miller with a plaque and highlighted Miller's 25 years of volunteer <br />service. She said that Miller provided a variety of quality outdoor experiences and <br />worked with scores of staff members. <br />Miller thanked the District for the honor, recalled some of her outdoor experiences, <br />and said she enjoyed her volunteer activities. <br />Board members thanked Miller for her many years of service to the District and <br />community. <br />4.
