In response to Lange's inquiry, Friedl said that there are no plans, at present, to erect netting at Amgen Field, but staff will observe and evaluate the situation. B. Recreation Division Report Wiley reported that that the District and Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning will present "Celebrate the Family' parenting conference on February 5 at Newbury Park High School; the Valentine's Day dance for 7' and a grade teens will be held February 5; and RSVP will have volunteers available to provide tax preparation service for seniors and low income people continuing through April 14. C. Management Services Division Report Lewanda noted the documentation relative to the increased cost of the recent election, which identified overhead allocation, ballots printed in English and Spanish, an increase in the number of absentee voters and last minute voter registrations as cost factors. D. General Manager's Report Ward reported that he had been in Sacramento to attend the Legislative Committee meeting, and he presented a brief overview of relevant political issues, including the Educational Revenue Augmentation Fund (ERAF). Concluding, he said staff continues to meet with representatives of California Lutheran University (CLU) to discuss the proposed pool's usage and funding.
