April 20, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to <br />adopt Resolution No. 042006-B, Supporting the Candidacy of Director <br />Joe Gibson for the Position of President -Elect on the Board of <br />Directors of California Association of Recreation and Park Districts <br />(CARPD); that it be read in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Gibson explained that the election for the <br />position of President -Elect will be conducted in May 2006, and the <br />President -Elect would then be in line for the presidency in 2007. <br />C. Adoption Of Resolutions 042006-C, 042006-D, 042006-E For <br />Landscaping Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho Conejo) And <br />Resolutions 042006-F, 042006-G, 042006-H For Landscaping <br />Maintenance District 94-1 (Dos Vientos) <br />Friedl said that: Assessment District law requires the annual preparation of <br />an Engineer's Report for the purpose of identifying improvements and <br />levying assessments; six resolutions have been prepared, three for LIVID <br />92-1 (Rancho Conejo) and three for LIVID 94-1 (Dos Vientos); the proposed <br />assessment for LIVID 92-1 is $44.71 per benefit unit; the proposed <br />assessment for LIVID 94-1 is $169.36 per benefit unit; the three resolutions <br />for each LIVID initiate the annual levy proceedings, preliminarily approve the <br />Engineer's Report, and declare the intention of the District to levy the <br />assessments, setting the date, time and place for the required Public <br />Hearing, which will be May 25 at 7:30 pm at Hillcrest Center; Rancho <br />Conejo is virtually at build out, Dos Vientos is approaching build out; and no <br />comments have been received from public. <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution 042006-C, Initiating Proceedings for the Annual Levy of <br />Assessments for Fiscal Year 2006-2007 and Ordering the Preparation <br />of an Assessment Engineer's Report for Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 92-1 (Rancho Conejo Playfield);that it be read in title only <br />and all other readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution 042006-D, Preliminarily Approving the Assessment <br />Engineer's Report for Proceedings for the Annual Levy of <br />Assessments Within Landscape Maintenance District No. 92-1 <br />(Rancho Conejo Playfield); that it be read in title only and all other <br />readings be waived. <br />
