1 <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />MARCH 9, 2006 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:31 p.m., and Recreation Manager Wiley <br />led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Jacobsen arrived at 7:36 p.m. <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Ward, Assistant General Manager Friedl, Administrators <br />Benton and Lewanda, and Executive Secretary Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Annual Recreation & Community Services Division Award <br />Recipients <br />Recreation Leader Charlene Balfour <br />Recreation Leader Steve Kraetsch <br />Administrative Clerk Rose Madsen <br />Recreation Leader Cheryl Metzger <br />Recreation Leader Devon Pinson <br />Recreation Leader Mark Williams <br />(not present) <br />Benton introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their protessional and academic <br />accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, staff, co-workers, family and the Board of Directors for their <br />support, and expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />The meeting was recessed at 7:51 p.m., and reconvened at 8:04 p.m. <br />
