Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda reported that auditors are currently at work on Mountains <br />Recreation and Conservation Authority (MBCA) financial records. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward noted the upcoming CARPD conference in May. He highlighted <br />relevant infrastructure legislation, and noted the correspondence relative to <br />SB 153 sent to Senator Wesley Chesbro and the Senate Natural Resources <br />Committee members. Concluding, he stated appreciation for his <br />nomination for the Ventura County Special Districts Association (VCSDA) <br />General Manager of the Year Award. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange reported that Local Area Formation Commission (LAFCO) did not <br />meet in February, and the Ventura County Board of Supervisors appointed <br />Supervisors Long and Parks to the LAFCO Board of Commission. <br />Holt noted the Stagecoach Inn Museum Foundation's presentation of Old <br />Radio Days Revisited, scheduled on March 12 at the Thousand Oaks Civic <br />Arts Plaza. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports On Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange stated his appreciated of the District's support of the recent Ventura <br />County Special Districts Association (VCSDA) meeting. He said that all <br />Board members were in attendance, and was pleased at Ward's receiving <br />the General Manager of the Year Award. <br />Gibson said that Berger and he attended the recent "Celebrate the Family" <br />event, and he commended Lindsey for her efforts. <br />12.
