December 6, 2007 <br />Page 2 <br />Creek Equestrian Park and the day included fun events for children and their <br />parents. <br />On behalf of the Board, Jacobsen presented the award to Cochrane. Board <br />members congratulated her. <br />Cochrane thanked everyone for their support. <br />Marilee Ullman, ETI, who nominated Cochrane, spoke of Cochrane's many <br />achievements and thanked the District for acknowledging deserving youth. <br />Employee Service Awards and Retirement of Parks Superintendent <br />Marchesano <br />Senior staff members commended District employees, and Board members <br />thanked and lauded the honorees, including Marchesano, whose retirement was <br />announced. He was thanked for his many years of service to the District and <br />community and wished a long and fulfilling retirement. <br />C An overview of each employee's professional and academic achievements was <br />presented. On behalf of the Board and staff, Friedl presented awards to the <br />honorees. <br />Steve Wiley received an award for 30 years of service; Kevin Lukes for 25 <br />years; Kevin Smith, Dale Honsinger, and Bruce Pace for 15 years; and Robert <br />Nunes and Robert Marchesano for 10 years. <br />Honorees thanked staff, management and the Board of Directors for their <br />support, and spoke of their pride and satisfaction in being part of Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District. <br />Chuck Huffer, AYSO, thanked and lauded Marchesano for his work, which has <br />benefited so many. <br />The meeting recessed at 8:30 p.m. and reconvened at 8:40 p.m. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />
