November 15, 2007 <br />Page 2 <br />Elaine Williams, President of Conejo Valley Historical Society, acknowledged the <br />presence of Sandy Hildebrandt, presented the 2006-07 Annual Report, and <br />expressed appreciation to the Board of Directors and staff for their support. She <br />displayed new publications of the Historical Society, including an emergency <br />manual for docents. She discussed docent training and upcoming events <br />including Winter Celebrations Day on December 1 and an Outreach Victorian Tea <br />on December 18. <br />Gibson commended Williams on the quality of the annual report. Williams credited <br />Hildebrandt. <br />Board members congratulated and thanked Williams and Hildebrandt for their <br />work. <br />Special Presentation Honoring Senior Grounds Supervisor Stirling (Pete) <br />Peterson <br />Jacobsen presented Peterson a proclamation honoring his long and successful <br />career at the District. <br />Recreation Coordinator Kouba provided a short humorous presentation of <br />Peterson at work. <br />Peterson thanked Board members, management, colleagues and crew members <br />for their support. He spoke with pride of the growth and development of District <br />facilities during his 37 year tenure. <br />Board members thanked and commended Peterson for his distinguished service to <br />the District and community, and wished him a long and fulfilling retirement. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />agenda as modified; i.e., Item 12.D. to follow Roll Call. <br />
