CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 15, 2007 <br />7.30 P.M. <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. and Senior Grounds <br />Supervisor Peterson led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Berger, Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen and Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Benton and Hare, <br />Accounting Supervisor Robertson, Mountains Recreation and Conservation <br />Authority (MRCA) Assistant Financial Officer Jones, and Executive Assistant <br />Ohren <br />12. D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl stated that the Jordan Flores accident case will shortly be in the oral <br />arguments phase. <br />He referenced the calendar of events and noted that the Rancho Potrero <br />Intergovernmental Committee/ Focus Group will meet on December 5 and a <br />Rancho Potrero open house is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, <br />1 to 4 p.m. <br />Friedl stated that the State government is facing a significant fiscal deficit <br />and noted the possible negative financial impact on local governments, <br />including the District. <br />3.
