Teen Center Status Report — Spring 2007 <br />Hare, with information obtained from city, gave timeframe estimate of gym <br />expansion project going to bid in fall 2008. <br />In response to Gibson, Benton will inquire regarding American Red Cross <br />Baby Sitting Class being offered at center as opposed to class previously <br />offered through Conejo Youth Employment. <br />D. Correspondence Regarding Park Dedication Fees Received <br />No Action <br />E. Follow-up On Holocaust Survivor Elane Geller's Presentations of <br />October 11, 2007 <br />Friedl, in response to Gibson described the presentation by Ms. Geller as <br />positive and uplifting ending with a message of hope. Additionally, <br />feedback from community and by those attending was very positive. <br />12. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Hare gave an update on the status of the California Lutheran University <br />(CLU) Pool and estimated that construction portion of the projects planned <br />to go out to bid at the end of November. Upon approval of lease portion of <br />the project District, City Council and the CLU Board will be able to award <br />the construction portion of the project. <br />Hare gave an update for the Lang Ranch Environmental Impact Report <br />(EIR) and stated that staff met with legal council and environmental <br />consultants, EDAW, in a very productive meeting. Together, they are <br />clarifying issues regarding traffic, air quality and biology. Expected final EIR <br />will be brought to the Board for action in one month to six weeks. <br />
