June 7, 2007 <br />Page 4 <br />document, created by the City of Thousand Oaks, will be made available to <br />legislators, both at the state and national levels, and clearly demonstrates <br />the mutually beneficial relationship that exists between the City and the <br />District. <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Hare stated that the Lang Ranch public comment period ended on June 4 <br />and compiled input has been forwarded to consultants for review process, <br />which is expected to be completed within six to eight weeks. <br />Additionally, he reported that the community pool project at California <br />Lutheran University goes to City Planning Commission on June 11. <br />Relative to Lang Ranch funding and in response to Gibson, Hare stated that <br />according to the City budget officer, Lange Ranch Community Park funding <br />is currently in the proposed City budget. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton reported that the one -day Recreation Inclusion Conference <br />presented by Kids Included Together (KIT) and sponsored by CRPD will be <br />held at the Hillcrest Center on Monday, June 11. <br />She also reported that the fourth annual `Touch -A Truck" will take place at <br />Thousand Oaks Community Center on June 16. And, the second annual <br />"ACCV Board & Friends" art will be on exhibit from June 8 through July 2 at <br />the Hillcrest Center. Information was also provided on Teen Center <br />summer programs, and invitations extended for the Fourth of July Fireworks <br />viewing get-together. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda had no additional information to report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported that he met with new incoming CEO and Chair of YMCA and <br />referenced the mutually beneficial long-standing relationship between the <br />organizations. <br />
