October 9, 2008 <br />Page 3 <br />In response to Holt's suggestion, Hare said that he would issue a press <br />release relative to AYSO's donations. Friedl discussed Quimby fee <br />calculations. <br />Jacobsen requested information on redevelopment finances <br />Hare said that Conejo Creek North picnic structure refurbishment is <br />underway, the new NEOS equipment is proving to be very popular, and <br />the tennis courts are heavily used. Friedl said that the McCrea Ranch <br />tour was very successful. Lange raised the issue of seeking financing <br />options to facilitate Lang Ranch Park improvements. <br />Lange thanked staff for the thorough report. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to <br />approve the 2007-08 Annual Capital Improvement Projects Status <br />Report and Master Plan Update. <br />B. Adoption of Resolution No. 100908-A, Authorizing General Manager <br />to Purchase Cal Trans Real Property Interest Adjacent to Teen <br />Center at Conejo Creek North <br />Friedl supplied relevant background information. He stated the City of <br />Thousand Oaks is planning to expand the Alex Fiore Teen Center, which <br />will benefit both the teen and senior populations at the adjacent Goebel <br />Senior Center. A drainage and slope easement owned by Caltrans will be <br />encroached upon; but Caltrans has expressed a willingness to sell this to <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District for $500, if it is used for recreation and <br />park purposes. <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 100908-A Authorizing the General Manager to Execute <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement— Real Property — DK C6251-06-01 and <br />other documents necessary to effectuate the purposes of this <br />transaction; that it be read it title only and all other readings be <br />waived. <br />C. Information Systems Policy <br />Lewanda referenced the documentation and highlighted the proposed <br />revised policy. She noted new guidelines have been added for streaming <br />
