Pursuant to Section 8 of the <br />District's purchasing policy, with Board consent, the District may <br />cooperatively purchase any equipment that has been prepared and <br />processed by another governmental agency for any contract greater than <br />$30,000. He said that staff considers the cost of the truck to be fair and <br />reasonable. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Hare said that the current truck will be sold. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to waive <br />the formal bid process. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to award <br />purchase of 2009 International 7500 SBA 6X4 Dump Truck to Gibbs <br />International in the amount of $103,309.23. He stated that the current <br />tractors need extensive work. Three bids were received and Golf Ventures <br />West submitted the lowest. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0 to <br />award purchase in the total amount of $51,903.25 for a Kioti Tractor <br />Model LK3054-XS-TLB (compact tractor) in the amount of $20,506.20, <br />and a Kioti Tractor Model DK65S with Loader (mid-size tractor) in the <br />amount of $31,397.05 to Golf Ventures West. Fund available in <br />Equipment Reserve Fund. <br />C. Adoption of Resolution No. 091808-A, Casting District Ballot for <br />Independent Special Districts Alternate Member to Ventura Local <br />Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) <br />Friedl referenced the documentation and said that the current election is to <br />select a new Alternate Commissioner.
