Maintenance Agreement with New World Systems for District <br />Financial and Human Resources Software <br />Lewanda stated that the District has used New World System's Logos <br />software since 1989, and the submitted agreement provides for <br />maintenance services on the software for three fiscal years ending June 30, <br />2011. She discussed the current product and future possibilities. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0 to <br />authorize the General Manager to sign a maintenance agreement with <br />New World Systems for the District's financial and human resources <br />software. <br />C. Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Final <br />Budget <br />Lewanda presented the MRCA Final Budget for approval. She said that <br />the Preliminary Budget was approved by the CRPD Board of Directors on <br />July 17 and consists of $38.77 million in revenues and expenditures. It was <br />approved by Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District at its August 21, <br />2008 meeting and is scheduled for approval at the Santa Monica Mountains <br />Conservancy's September 22 meeting. She said that alignment of cash <br />flow with expenses is a continuous challenge. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0 to <br />approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority <br />(MRCA) Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-09 as presented in the <br />submitted documentation. <br />D. Award of Bid for Play Area Rehabilitation -- Conejo Community Park <br />Hare stated staff recommendation and reviewed the bid process. He said <br />that: a notice was placed in the Ventura County Star on August 18; four <br />interested bidders received plans and specifications; one bid of $212,180 <br />from M. D. Structural Contractors was received; the bid meets all the <br />required specifications; and M.D. Structural Contractors has completed <br />many installations for the District, including Conejo Creek North, El Parque <br />de La Paz and Hickory Neighborhood Park. <br />
