CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 19, 2009 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Holt called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Lange, Short <br />Directors Absent: Jacobsen <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare and Lewanda, Recreation <br />Manager Wiley, and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Oakbrook Chumash Indian Corporation (OCIC) Annual Report — Beverly Folkes and <br />Gayle Unzueta <br />Beverly Folkes and Gayle Unzueta of the Chumash Indian Corporation presented an <br />overview of the Chumash Interpretive Center, distributed the 2009 Annual Report, noted the <br />presence of OCIC board members, and said that there is one vacancy on the Board of <br />Directors. They invited everyone to the upcoming Winter Solstice celebration, and thanked <br />the District for its support and assistance. <br />On behalf of the Board of Directors, Holt thanked Folkes and Unzueta for the presentation. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0, to approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of November 5, 2009 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $438,583.26 <br />Payroll Total $617,283.60 <br />
