Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Cash Report for <br />Period Ended August 2009 <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Lewanda said that MRCA's cash position continues to <br />be positive. <br />B. 2009-101't Quarter Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) Status Report <br />Hare referenced the report and noted that Phase 1 Construction of Northwood <br />Neighborhood Park, which consisted of site grading, irrigation, turf and walking path <br />has been completed. <br />Lange said that equipment is available from the Roy Rogers Museum and he will <br />provide staff with contact information. <br />C. California Association of Recreation & Park Districts (CARPD) Environmental <br />Report Card <br />Gibson discussed the documentation and suggested that consideration be given to <br />implementing the issues addressed in the general section. Jacobsen concurred. <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare said that staff will meet November 6 with representatives of Strong and <br />Associates to discuss sponsorship opportunities and the Board will be kept informed. <br />The ribbon cutting ceremony at Northwood Neighborhood Park is scheduled for <br />November 21, and an on-site community meeting was held recently and was well <br />received. The disc golf project is progressing, November 14 will be a volunteer work <br />day, and a spring grand opening is anticipated. <br />
