Adoption of Ordinance 2009-1 Amending District Ordinance Manual <br />Hare summarized background information and invited questions. <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to <br />adopt Ordinance 2009-A, Amending the Ordinance Manual <br />Establishing Ordinances Governing Use of Parks, Recreation Areas <br />and Facilities. <br />B. Award of Bid for Walnut Grove Equestrian Center, Wastewater Project <br />Hare reviewed the bid process and stated that the low bid was received <br />from Sam Hill & Sons, Inc. of Ventura County, which meets all required <br />specifications. A 30% contingency on the project is recommended. Staff <br />requested and received unit prices for installation of additional utility lines, <br />and is currently investigating the need for this work. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0 to <br />award bid to Sam Hill and Sons, Inc., in the amount of $64,500 plus a <br />30% contingency amount of $19,350, totaling $83,850 for construction <br />of a new wastewater line at Walnut Grove Equestrian Center. Funds <br />are available from CIP account 62-804-811-81407-003. <br />C. Oakbrook Neighborhood Park Development Design Services Contract <br />Hare supplied information on site background and the Request for <br />Proposals (RFP) process. He noted that in 2000 staff formed a 12 -person <br />focus group with the purpose of master planning the undeveloped 8.5 <br />acres.
