1. <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br />5. <br />6 <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 1, 2010 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and Friedl led the flag salute. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Lange, Short <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrator Hare, Recreation Manager Wiley, and <br />Executive Assistant Ohren <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Cultural Unit — Recreation Supervisor Scott Buchanan <br />Recreation Coordinator Megan McDonaugh, Artistic Director of Young Artists Ensemble <br />(YAE) Mark Reyes, and Musical Director Zachery Spencer were introduced. A presentation <br />by McDonaugh provided an overview of YAE, which is celebrating its 3& anniversary. The <br />teen cast of the Young Artists Ensemble performed a song from the upcoming production <br />Sweeney Todd. <br />Board members enthusiastically congratulated and thanked the cast for its performance. <br />ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of June 17, 2010 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $154,525.34 <br />Payroll Total $341,182.81 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 5-0, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar. <br />
