March 18, 2010 <br />Page 5 <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Hare said that the District now has City approval to <br />place signs on streets to control parking problems. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />The Young Artists Ensemble presents the Hillcrest Players in Tongue Twisted March <br />20 and 27. Family Bingo and Famous Pie Auction offered through the Therapeutic <br />Recreation Unit will be held at the Goebel Senior Adult Center on March 19. The Wild <br />Wild West BBQ & Dance, also presented by the Therapeutic Recreation Unit, is <br />scheduled for March 27 at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda stated that three audits have been successfully completed at Mountains <br />Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) and the results are generally positive. <br />The new District financial system, which will replace the AS400, will be operational on <br />March 23. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl stated that a Closed (Executive) Session will be necessary. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange said he will participate in a water supply tour hosted by the Municipal Water <br />District. <br />Gibson said he received a copy of the Goebel Senior Adult Center Master Plan and <br />suggested that copies be made available to all Board members and consideration <br />be given to a special presentation. <br />Holt and Jacobsen reported that they attended the recent California Parks & <br />Recreation Society (CPRS) Conference and many professional presentations were <br />provided. <br />F.
