Parks Division Report <br />Hare noted that a Preconditions meeting was held for the McCrea Ranch Visitors' <br />Center and the project will be presented to the Planning Commission on March 22. <br />Staff has been told by City representatives that, comparing fiscal year- to - <br />date to last year, the District has saved more than 14% in water Usage. <br />March 20 the District will have a softball game with the Conejo Valley Unified School <br />District team. <br />Relative to a recent article in the Acorn newspaper regarding field closures due to <br />inclement weather, staff is working with Southern California Lacrosse representatives. <br />Positive feedback has been received on the new Dos Vientos Park shade structure <br />and the improvements at Conejo Community Park. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Wiley referenced documentation, and highlighted recreation events and activities. <br />Community Theatre Group will present Gilbert & Sullivan's "Princess Ida" at the <br />Hillcrest Center Theatre opening on March 12. A St. Patrick's Dance for middle <br />school teens will be held on March 13 at the Teen Center. The 27th annual Spring <br />Eggstravaganza will be held on March 27 at Conejo Creek Soccer Fields. Wiley <br />noted with pride that the District will be honored by District Vill CPRS for its <br />Challenger Flag Football Program and the Thousand Oaks Teen Center will receive <br />the Champion of the Community Award. <br />C.
