CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 20, 2011 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Jacobsen called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M., and Lange led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Jacobsen, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Lewanda and Hare, Recreation <br />Managers Lindsey and Wiley, and Executive Assistant Ohren <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Divisions Service Awards <br />Devon Herbert, Recreation Therapist <br />Charles Hacker, Recreation Leader <br />Kim Gagnon, Recreation Leader <br />Nicole Van Winkle, Recreation Specialist <br />Jody Dickson, Receptionist <br />Aline Reynders, Administrative Assistant <br />Wiley and Hare introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their professional and <br />academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the <br />District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, families and the Board of Directors for their <br />support, and expressed appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />The meeting was recessed at 8:01 p.m., and reconvened at 8:10 p.m. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Fred Kemp, Thousand Oaks, spoke of his concerns regarding the dog park, including the <br />need for longer hours of lighting, needed road repairs and vandalism of cars. <br />
