Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Huffer and Jones both attended the Stagecoach Museum event on Sunday. <br />Lange attended the reorganization meeting for the City of Westlake Village. The <br />outgoing and incoming mayors both asked that CRPD present the gold medal video <br />at one of their council meetings. VCSDA held their December dinner meeting here <br />at Hillcrest Center on Tuesday evening. Attendance was low due to a conflicting <br />event/conference. Huffer, Friedl and Lange were in attendance. The RSVP <br />luncheon was a wonderful event. Last Monday there was a Santa Monica Mountains <br />Conservancy meeting. The Conservancy is strong and has a great representation <br />throughout Southern California. At the MRCA meeting yesterday there was general <br />discussion regarding purchase of land in the the Antelope Valley in cooperation with <br />the SMMC. <br />Holt referenced the 'Ventura County Star' article on Jacobsen. "Stage Lines," the <br />Conejo Valley Historical Society's newsletter, referenced and praised CRPD in the <br />Director's report. Holt attended the quarterly meeting of the Conejo Coalition for <br />Youth and Families and thanked Lindsey for all her work with this group. A new <br />resource center at the Oaks mall was discussed at the meeting. CRPD is one of the <br />four entities supporting this project.
