November 1, 2012 <br />Page 4 <br />Lindsey and Hare were acknowledged for the success of several recent projects, <br />Lindsey for the very well attended "Bark in the Park", work leading to the District's <br />standing as a finalist for the NRPA Gold Medal, ongoing plans for CRPD's 50th <br />Anniversary celebration and Hare for his initiative and progress on the solar project <br />November 15th will be Jacobsen's last meeting. A reception honoring him will be <br />held on the same day from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the large rehearsal room. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Gibson recently attended a CARPD Strategic Retreat in Sacramento. Friedl <br />attended for one day. The results will be shared in January after approval by their <br />Board. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange expressed his gratitude to Lindsey for her work leading up to the District's <br />being a finalist for the NRPA Gold Award. He shared some of what he learned at <br />various NRPA educational sessions, including information on a community -wide <br />youth cycling program. <br />12.
