Runoff Election — Casting Conejo Recreation and Park District Ballot For <br />Special District Alternate Member to the Ventura Local Agency Formation <br />Commission (LAFCO) <br />Friedl asked the Board to select an alternate special district member to serve on the <br />Ventura L4FCO. <br />Gibson nominated Freeman, Jones seconded the nomination, and it carried <br />4-0, to nominate Elaine Freeman as the Alternate Special District Member to <br />Ventura LAFCo. <br />B. Power Purchase Agreement with CRPD Solar 1, LLC for Solar System <br />Installation at Various Locations <br />Hare introduced the item and provided a history and highlights of the project. Staff <br />from SolarWorld, Pete Shepherd, Dave Wallerstein and Kevin Kilkelly, gave an <br />overview of the project and answered Board member's questions. <br />Chuck Huffer, Thousand Oaks, raised several questions and generally supports the <br />project. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Jones, and carried 4-0 to authorize <br />General Manager to enter into a Power Purchase Agreement with CRPD Solar <br />1, LLC for solar installations at Dos Vientos Community Park, Conejo Creek <br />South, Borchard Community Park and Thousand Oaks Community Park. <br />
