Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported a Banyan Community Outreach Meeting is scheduled for the <br />end of the month where results of the focus group will be presented. A Lang <br />Ranch Neighborhood Park meeting will be held on May 14th. Meetings <br />regarding Lang Ranch Community Park have been held with the City of <br />Thousand Oaks, various consultants, the Ventura County Watershed <br />Protection District and some of the stakeholders. The top proposer from the <br />solar carport RFP process has been selected. Meetings will be held with <br />them over the next few months and a recommendation will be brought to the <br />Board subsequently. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey announced the District has been selected as a finalist for the <br />National Recreation and Park Association's Gold Medal award. She <br />explained the selection process moving forward, which will include <br />production of a storytelling video of the actual application. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />June 261h is the target date for a meeting between the Board of Directors <br />and Brent Ives to assist in formulating "Board Norms and Guidelines for High <br />Performance." Staff will be meeting with representatives of the Ventura <br />County Taxpayers Association sometime over the next week or two. The <br />Governor's May revise comes out on Monday. LAFCO has notified the <br />District that they are looking for nominations to their Board to fill an interim <br />position. Friedl thanked Lindsey for her efforts on the NRPA Gold Award <br />nomination and Hare's efforts with the ONPIRCP projects. <br />E Directors' Reports <br />Jacobsen commented on the high degree of quality and professionalism at <br />
