REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Goebel Senior Center Commission Meeting Minutes — January 2012 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported on the upcoming ground breaking scheduled for Oakbrook Service Yard. <br />Additionally, RFP's were recently issued for four solar carports — proposals are expected in <br />the beginning of April. The Cahada Park play area renovation project should get <br />underway by the end of March. Dos Vientos Playfield is progressing well. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey highlighted the upcoming Spring Arts & Crafts Festival and Fireside Concerts. <br />Lindsey will put Board members on the mailing list for the Fireside Concerts. The Gold <br />Medal application has been completed and will be mailed on March 2nd. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported a letter from the District's attorney was sent to SureTec, the bonding <br />company for the Oakbrook Neighborhood Park project; the deadline for a response is <br />March 9th. He also reported that there have been three Lang Ranch Community Input <br />Meetings to date, and a fourth meeting is scheduled for March 21st. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />,!ones complimented all staff who are participating in the Lang Ranch Community Input <br />Meetings. He and his wife enjoyed a recent performance of "Beauty & the Beast." <br />
