Bianchi agreed to incorporate maintenance standards in the <br />agreement so that the HOA will understand their responsibility to maintain it <br />in the future. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded Lange, and carried 5-0 to authorize the <br />General Manager to execute the First Amendment to the Land Exchange <br />Agreement between CRPD and The New Home Company, including its <br />related exhibits, attachments and related documents to effectuate the <br />Agreement's purpose. <br />B. Award Bid for Wildflower Playfield East Parking Lot Renovation in the <br />amount of $37,320 <br />Hare explained that this project involves removing the top layer of the <br />parking lot, re -grinding it and putting it back down with new striping and <br />bumpers. <br />Moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to award bid to DPM <br />Construction Company, in the amount of $37,320, plus contingency in the <br />amount of $3,624, totaling $40,944, for construction of the Wildflower <br />Playfield East Parking Lot Renovation Project. <br />C. Award Bid for Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park Improvements in the <br />amount of $230,000 <br />Hare explained the history and development of this project. The project will <br />last approximately 100 days, starting early January 2014. <br />Huffer noted there are two parks beginning with Lang Ranch and that <br />perhaps the park naming committee could discuss the names. <br />Gibson expressed concerns about planting non-native vegetation. Hare <br />agreed to have staff look at that and stated that it would be easy to change. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to award bid to <br />GMZ Engineering in the amount of $233,000 (base bid amount of $230,000 <br />and bid Add Alternate #2 amount of $3,000), plus contingency in the amount <br />of $23,300, totaling $256,300, for site preparation, installation of a porous <br />
