Directors' Reports <br />Holt reminded Board members of the November 11th Veterans Day Ceremony at <br />Conejo Creek North. <br />Jones accompanied Lindsey to the CRPD 50th Anniversary presentation given to the <br />Soroptomist's Club. <br />Gibson may be late to, or absent from, the Oct 17th Board meeting due to a <br />scheduling conflict. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Huffer, Lange, Gibson and Friedl attended the VCSDA Dinner meeting. There was <br />a good turnout and it was very educational. Gibson attended, along with Pete <br />Martinez and Brenda Coleman, a CRPD 50th Anniversary presentation at the Youth <br />Commission Meeting. Gibson reported the AWA event at the Reagan Library had <br />the largest turnout yet, with over 300 attendees; he thanked the Board members for <br />their participation and the District for its sponsorship. <br />Lange attended an MRCA Board meeting yesterday. The 2012 audit report was <br />reviewed. MRCA has close to a half billion dollars in assets and properties in <br />Southern California. MRCA has been asked to run the LA River Recreation Zone <br />program next year. Due to their knowledge of the area, MRCA Rangers recently <br />assisted the L.A.
