Staff selected Pacific Floor to replace the floor due to the District's close working relationship with the company. Work began on September 24th. Find that the unanticipated damage to the gym floor, and urgent need to timely replace the floor, was an emergency situation requiring immediate action to mitigate the loss of essential public services. 2. Confirm General Manager's execution of contract to Pacific Floor Company in the amount of $101,600 for the urgent gym floor replacement at Thousand Oaks Community Center. 3. Transfer $101,600 from the General Fund Operating Reserve and appropriate $101,600 in Districtwide Fund 62, for Thousand Oaks Community Center gym floor replacement project Staff will seek resources to restore the operating reserve, including potential insurance proceeds. B. Award Bid for Conejo Creek North Park, Renovation of Reservable Picnic Areas, Purchase and Installation of Fabric Shade Structures in the amount of $694,000 plus a contingency amount of $50,704 for a total of $750,000 Hare indicated readiness to begin construction and renovation of the picnic areas at Conejo Creek North.
