March 14, 2013 <br />Page 3 <br />Coordinator position to reflect current assignments and <br />responsibilities. <br />2. Reclassify Registration/Publicity Coordinator position from Range 41 to <br />48 effective April 6, 2013. <br />B. Consideration of Resolution No. 031413-A Adopting Negative Declaration for <br />Banyan Park Expansion Project. <br />Hare presented the item, which is part of the ongoing process to improve an <br />undeveloped area of Banyan Park. Once this Resolution is adopted, the process <br />can continue; the next step will be creation of construction documents. An error was <br />noted on page 20; Hare said this has been corrected and reflected in the official <br />document. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jones, and carried 5-0 to Adopt <br />Resolution No. 039413-A which adopts the Final Negative Declaration (ND) for <br />Banyan Park Expansion Project pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) and the State CEQA Guidelines, that it be read in title only <br />and all further readings be waived. <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Correspondence Regarding Park Dedication Fees <br />B. Seeking Community Input on DRAFT COSCA Strategic Plan <br />C. Investment Report — January 2013 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported mat tree recently seeded turf grass continues to grow at Oakbrook <br />Neighborhood Park. The new building at Oakbrook Service Yard is nearly complete <br />with move in scheduled in approximately one month. A non -mandatory job walk for <br />the Lang Ranch Community Park Environmental Analysis and Construction Drawing <br />Services is scheduled for Monday, March 18th at 1:00 pm. Administrative hearings <br />regarding the solar carports at Thousand Oaks Community and Dos Vientos <br />Community Parks will be held on April 11th. The other two solar carport projects <br />(Conejo Creek South and Borchard Park) are being processed and finalized.
