Minutes 4-27-16 <br />Page 3 <br />Seerden said that the Wellness Fest presentation was shared to provide <br />information on the event; it was not Tanaka's intention to solicit an additional <br />donation from the Commission, and that being said, Tanaka has asked that this <br />item be removed from consideration. Seerden added that CSVP staff is very <br />grateful for the donations that the Commission has already made. <br />6. Officer and Committee Reports and Recommendations <br />A. President <br />1. Senior Nutrition Program Questions and Answers: <br />Seerden referenced documentation provided by staff that addresses <br />the concerns brought forth by patrons regarding the Senior Nutrition <br />Program at the March meeting. Health Department regulations, loss <br />of a salad bar, meal portion size, and staff/patron interactions were <br />covered. Additionally, he noted that results of a VCAAA dietitian staff - <br />requested verbal survey indicated patron satisfaction with the <br />program, and program attendance numbers have shown significant <br />growth. <br />B. General Report: Basilio referenced and reviewed the Treasurer's Current <br />Asset Report and reported $333,166.33 in current assets in certificate of <br />deposits and money market accounts as well as $36,898.17 in the <br />GSCC and $8,360.78 in the Bingo checking accounts. <br />E.
