PUBLIC DISCUSSION <br />Evan Stephens indicated he was present at today's meeting to continue a <br />dialogue regarding the Senior Nutrition Program and to hear staffs responses <br />to concerns expressed at the March Commission meeting. <br />Seerden thanked Mr. Stephens for his comments. <br />Coleman introduced and welcomed Rochelle Callis, the new CRPD <br />Administrator of Recreation and Community Services. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MARCH 23, 20'16 <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the March meeting. <br />It was moved by Norkin, seconded by Basilio, and passed unanimously, <br />to approve the minutes of the March meeting as presented. <br />6. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. GSCC Officer Nominating Committee — Appoint Ad Hoc Committee <br />Seerden reported that Baumeister has agreed to handle Officer Candidate <br />Nominations. He noted that she will be in contact with each Commissioner to <br />elicit officer candidate nominations/recommendations. <br />B. Additional $6,000 CSVP Commission Donation - Vote <br />Seerden noted that this request for an additional $5,000 Commission donation <br />was brought forth as a March meeting agenda item. He continued to say that <br />the request was made by a Commissioner at the February meeting after the <br />viewing of the Wellness Fest presentation given by CSVP Director Tanaka. <br />This item was discussed and then tabled to the April meeting with the request <br />for additional information and a financial status report from Director Tanaka. <br />
