APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 28, 2015 <br />Seerden asked for a motion to approve the minutes of the October meeting. <br />It was moved by Cleary, seconded by Martinich, and passed <br />unanimously, to approve the minutes of the October meeting as <br />presented. <br />5. OLD AND NEW BUSINESS <br />A. GSCC Support of Village to Village <br />Seerden referenced documentation pertinent to the Village to Village senior <br />program and the request for monetary support. <br />It was moved by Seerden, seconded by Norkin, to approve a <br />donation of $5,000 of Commission funds to Village to Village. <br />Seerden opened the discussion with information pertinent to the objectives <br />of Village to Village and that Council on Aging had approached him seeking <br />GSCC support. He explained the purpose of the program is to provide <br />seniors the resources to remain in their own homes as opposed to moving <br />into senior assisted living. He said the program operates in various parts of <br />the country and seniors pay a monthly fee to for the services. He also <br />explained the one-time donation of $5,000 would be used by as start-up <br />money for the program to be instituted in Conejo Valley. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Opinions were expressed both in favor and in opposition. <br />It was noted by Norkin that per the Commission bylaws, part of its purpose, <br />
