April 21, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2016-17 <br />Huffer opened the public hearing. There was no public comment; the hearing is continued <br />to the next Board meeting on May 5, 2016. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Consideration of Resolution No. 042116-A Directing Preparation of the <br />Engineer's Report, Declaring Intention to Levy Assessments for 2016-2017, <br />Preliminarily Approving Engineer's Report for Districtwide Park Maintenance <br />and Recreation Improvement District (62-1) and Providing for a Notice of <br />Public Hearing <br />Hare reported this assessment rate is proposed to adjust from $34.67 to $35.37 per <br />benefit unit for FY 2016-17. He will report back to the Board on May 5th to consider <br />the ordering of the improvements and the levy of the proposed assessments. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 042116-A directing preparation of the Engineer's Report, <br />declaring the District's intention to levy assessments for 2016-17, <br />preliminarily approving the Engineer's Report for Districtwide Park <br />Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (62-1) and providing for a <br />notice of public hearing, that it be read in title only and all further readings be <br />waived. <br />B. Consideration of Resolutions for Landscaping Maintenance Districts (LMDs) <br />92-1 and 94-1 <br />Hare reported the assessment rate for LIVID 92-1 is proposed to adjust from $78.12 <br />to $86.53 and for LIVID 94-1 from $299.89 to $302.08 per benefit unit for FY 2016- <br />17. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution No. 042116-B preliminarily approving the assessment engineer's <br />report for FY 2016-2017, declaring its intention to provide for an annual levy <br />and collection of assessments and setting a time and place for public hearing <br />thereon for Landscape Maintenance District 92-1 (Rancho Conejo Playfield), <br />that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />
