CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />November 19, 2015 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Jones called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Holt led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey, and Executive <br />Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Play Conejo Annual Report — Mary Power, Vice President, Play Conejo <br />Power presented a history of the organization, which was founded in 2012 as part of CRPD's 50" <br />Anniversary. Play Conejo provides funding for park improvements and scholarship programs. She <br />highlighted its programs, financials, projects and fundraising efforts. Board members thanked her for her <br />informative presentation. <br />Dos Vlentos Center — Great Conejo Campout <br />Sarah Daub, Recreation Supervisor, Dos Vientos Community Center, presented a history of the Great <br />Conejo Campout and highlighted the campout's activities, including games, dinner, a wildlife show, <br />campfire, hike, hot chocolate and s'mores. A slide show followed with pictures from event. Daub <br />answered Board member's questions and was thanked for her presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of November 5, 2015 Board Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $190,927.98 <br />Payroll $373,700.00 <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />
