Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Holt attended the Thousand Oaks Arts Festival VIP Reception; this year it was held <br />at Jane Seymour's art gallery; CRPD was recognized. <br />Lange attended NRPA in Las Vegas; he also attended the CSDA Conference in <br />Monterey; there were many good educational breakout sessions and speakers. <br />The US Surgeon General spoke at the NRPA Conference — his theme was parks <br />and recreation as therapy and a benefit to everyone's physical and mental health. <br />Both conferences were very good. Lange also attended the SMMC meeting on <br />Monday <br />Huffer attended the CSDA conference and agreed with Lange's assessment — <br />there were many good sessions. <br />Jones enjoyed the NRPA and CSDA conferences and found the CSDA conference <br />to be especially well organized <br />12.
