CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS REGULAR MEETING <br />June 18, 2015 <br />7:30 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Jones called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm and Huffer led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: None <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Hare, Lewanda and Lindsey, <br />and Administrative Assistant Dickson <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Leadership Summit — Courtney Brousseau, Chair, City of Thousand Oaks <br />Youth Commission <br />Courtney Brousseau discussed activities of the Youth Commission during the past year <br />and he thanked CRPD and all of those who participated and supported all of their <br />events and goals. The Youth Commission hosts the Youth Leadership Summit every <br />other year in an effort to engage students in community issues as well as to hear from <br />them regarding the most important issues facing youth. The Commission then acts as a <br />facilitator to develop a report and thea implement programs that will help solve those <br />issues. The Board thanked Courtney and Francine Sprigel for the presentation and <br />congratulated them for their work and success. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Gibson and carried M to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A.
