Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported the CRPD mobile app has recently been updated; patrons are now able <br />to register and pay for classes via their mobile !-phones. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Coleman reported the "Conejo Theater for Everyone" will be performing Disney's <br />"Aladdin" this weekend. The general public's performances of "Aladdin" (January 30 <br />through February 15) were very successful, with three nights sold out. There will be a <br />live concert at the Teen Center on Saturday night featuring the national touring band <br />"Reverse Order" and three local bands. The annual pool tournament at Goebel Adult <br />Community Center is scheduled for March 5th. The Sports Unit's second pickleball <br />tournament will be held at Del Prado Playfields on February 21St. Dos Vientos <br />Community Center is hosting a "Kids Movie Night" on February 27th. The first ever <br />evening Bingo tournament will be held at Goebel on February 27 <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda absent. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl recently participated in a focus group regarding the Ventura County Y's Strategic <br />Plan. He also met with a consultant involved with the search for a new CVUSD <br />Superintendent. He met with Supervisor Parks re: water saving ideas. The Oakbrook <br />Chumash Museum Board of Directors has invited a CRPD staff member to act as a <br />liaison; Superintendent Kouba will fill this role. The Parks staff has had much success <br />with turf conversion grants. The Play Conejo Board continues to plan their upcoming <br />fundraising event, "Prom ... Again" scheduled for April 18th at the Teen Center. Friedl <br />announced a need for a closed session this evening with no report expected. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange reported he received an email from the LA County Transportation Authority <br />Metro Group to serve as member (based on his association with MBCA) on their <br />Technical Advisory Committee for some greening programs associated with Park and <br />Ride and Metro Station sites. The first meeting will be early next month; there will be a <br />total of four meetings through October. <br />Gibson reminded everyone of the upcoming CARPD conference in May. The AWA <br />
