December 18, 2014 <br />Page 4 <br />E. Goebel Senior Center Commission Meeting Minutes — October 2014 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported on the Rancho Potrero parking lot project, which has been delayed <br />due to the recent rains. The restrooms have been delivered and installed; <br />irrigation, landscaping and fencing remain to be finished; these should be <br />completed in about three weeks. COSCA staff will handle the ribbon -cutting. <br />Tomorrow, staff will be meeting with representatives from Calleguas Municipal <br />Water District to begin assessing the damage at Wildwood Neighborhood Park as <br />a result of the water main break. It is anticipated repairs will be delayed by at least <br />several months due to the inability to get heavy equipment to the site; when <br />weather conditions permit, such activity will commence. The Oak Tree Ordinance <br />Review Committee, of which Hare is a member, is finishing their deliberations; <br />there will be a wrap-up meeting next month. The Committee will go before the City <br />Council with recommendations in the next few months. The oak tree ordinance <br />moratorium ends in May. Hare met with interested pickle ball and tennis players at <br />Rancho Conejo Playfields for more discussion on the placement of a new pickle <br />ball court; a proposal will be brought to the Board in a couple of months. Hare met <br />with the New Home Company; they are developing the . Mayflower/Warwick <br />property. Work will begin on improving the trails between their development and <br />Conejo Community Park. Additionally, Hare has been meeting with representatives <br />from Conejo Valley Unified School District and Conejo Valley Unified Soccer Club; <br />they are investigating a way to get the game of futsal started at Los Cerritos Middle <br />School. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Lindsey referenced Recreation Highlights. The Teen New Year's Eve dance will be <br />held on Dec. 315T. Information was provided the Board this evening regarding <br />Verizon's $10,000 technology grant award to Play Conejo. The check presentation <br />will be tomorrow morning at 10:30 am at Old Meadows Center. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl stated District's attorney, Mark Sellers, has worked out a stipulation with the <br />plaintiffs counsel in the Lang Ranch Park Neighborhood Association vs. CRPD <br />
