The Ventura County <br />Fire Protection District may be interested in the possibility of building a fire station at <br />the corner of Westlake Blvd. and Potrero Road. Friedl met with Supervisor Parks <br />regarding the fire station as well as Santa Rosa Park and whether or not people will <br />be allowed to continue parking there for free. Parking at Santa Rosa Park is <br />expected to be on the agenda at the September 23rd County Board of Supervisors <br />meeting. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange reported the VCSDA meeting on October 7th will be held at the Chumash <br />Indian Museum. Gibson mentioned the City of Thousand Oaks' 50th Anniversary <br />Celebration is on the same evening. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meet!ngs/Conferences Attended <br />Gibson reported a meeting of the Quimby Ad Hoc committee was held; no report as <br />yet. <br />12.
