Approve and Adopt the Attached CRPD Salary Schedule <br />Gibson stated the salary schedule should be broken into categories, i.e. <br />exempt (salary) and non-exempt (hourly). Discussion ensued. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 5-0 to approve <br />and adopt the attached salary schedule with the proviso that Lewanda <br />will provide the Board with a reformatted salary schedule which <br />delineates exempt and non-exempt employees. <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Capital Improvements Fund Grant <br />Hare answered Huffer's questions regarding the Capital Grant money. Hare <br />explained how the grants are publicized with any leftover monies going back <br />into Fund Balance. <br />B. Youth Outreach Impressions — May 2014 <br />Lange noted Nalbandian's comments regarding his confidence that there will <br />be some "big numbers" drawn into the summer High School League, <br />programs and events. Sorensen's observations of "another great school <br />year" are appreciated as well. Lange appreciates the feedback. <br />C. Park Dedication Fee <br />D. Budget Performance Report — May 2014 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported the District recently received two grants from Cal Am Water, <br />for a total of $29K, dedicated to turf conversion at Rancho Conejo Playfield <br />and Wendy Park. The Oakheart Country Music Festival last Saturday <br />appeared to be fairly successful event; neighbors seemed satisfied with <br />sound/noise levels. Hare will attend a debrief meeting with Oakheart <br />representatives and the noise consultant in the next couple of weeks. <br />Gibson suggested investigating District eligibility for a grant program by <br />Calleguas (funded by Metropolitan.) Hare has done some initial investigation; <br />Hare will continue to pursue. <br />
