April 3, 2014 <br />Page 5 <br />Lindsey referenced Recreation Highlights. Board members are invited to the <br />upcoming District -wide Music Festivals. Members who attend will be introduced <br />and recognized. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported the Lego event scheduled for May 1 oth has been postponed. <br />There will be a special meeting May 1st at Conejo Creek North where Tex Ward <br />and Mark Jacobsen will be the inaugural inductees of the Gratitude Circle. Shelly <br />Mason from COSCA is working on the Dos Vientos debris flow issue. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />None. <br />F. Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange reported 703 acres (24 parcels) have been acquired by the MRCA; the <br />property is located in Puerco Canyon in unincorporated Los Angeles County and <br />the City of Malibu. This property ties into existing MRCA property west of <br />Pepperdine and east of Corral Canyon. <br />Lange and Gibson attended the VCSDA Dinner meeting on Tuesday evening. <br />Huffer, along with Friedl, attended the City Visioning meeting regarding <br />Infrastructure at the Municipal Service Center on Tuesday evening. <br />Holt, along with Hare, attended the City Visioning meeting regarding the <br />environment held here at the District office. <br />12. REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT AGENDA <br />Gibson reported he and Jones are finishing up their Ad Hoc Committee work on the <br />General Manager's contract; they hope to have it ready to bring back as a Closed Session <br />discussion item at the next Board meeting. <br />13.
