Approve and Adopt CRPD Salary Schedule <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones, and carried 5-0 to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />8. CRPD Website and Social Media — Status Report <br />Friedl provided a history of CRPD's involvement in social media and introduced <br />Kathie Harrison, Registration and Publicity Coordinator, who highlighted details of <br />the CRPD website, including some new features. Harrison introduced Allison <br />McLane, Registration & Publicity Assistant, who spoke about social media <br />platforms and their use in getting CRPD's "brand" out to residents; these platforms <br />include Facebook, GooglePlus, Twitter, Foursquare and Instagram. <br />Board member's questions were answered and Harrison and McClave were <br />thanked for their informative presentation. <br />B. Authorize General Manager to sign contract with Sage Communications, Inc. <br />to provide Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone services to District <br />Facilities <br />Friedl introduced Mark Segedie, IT Analyst, who gave an overview of ways the <br />District is employing cost-saving methods through new technologies and providing <br />improvements to the phone system. In 2012, a pilot VoIP system was installed at <br />the CLU Community Pool office. The second installation was at Conejo Community <br />Center and, finally, at Hillcrest Center. Approval of this contract will allow for VoIP <br />installation in remaining District offices. Segedie answered Board member's <br />questions. Discussion ensued regarding the reason for the usage charges included <br />in the quote. <br />This item will be continued to enable research into usage charges. <br />C.
