ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />Board Committees and Assignments <br />Discussion ensued regarding Board Committee Appointments and Assignments; Board <br />members agreed on some changes and modifications. Conejo Valley Days (CVD) — 2025 Annual Agreement and Permit Conditions, <br />Conejo Creek Park <br />Mooney reported the 2025 CVD Annual Agreement and Permit Conditions are very <br />similar to those the Board agreed upon last year. Staff believe that CVD is <br />categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA.). CVD <br />organizers will have exclusive use of Conejo Creek South for 16 days; the event <br />will run for 11 days. Mooney highlighted some of the agreement's details and <br />introduced Sara Akrey, President of CVD. She answered Board member's <br />questions and expressed excitement at continuing the CVD tradition. <br />It was moved by Buss, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to: <br />1. Determine that Conejo Valley Days (CVD) for 2025 is categorically exempt <br />from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />2. Authorize the General Manager to execute the CVD Agreement for 2025. <br />B. Thousand Oaks Rotary Club Chili Cook -Off and Craft Brew Festival — 2025 <br />Annual Agreement and Permit Conditions, Conejo Creek Park <br />Mooney reported the community annually derives a benefit from this well run and <br />organized event; last year $118,000 was donated to various charities. Staff believe <br />that the Chili Cook Off is categorically exempt from the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA.) Mooney reviewed various details of the Agreement and <br />
