Recreation Coordinator <br />and Vreeke, Recreation Specialist. She reported on the successful joint effort between <br />Cal Lutheran University, the City of Thousand Oaks and the District, which has led to <br />making significant strides in promoting a vibrant aquatic community. She presented a <br />short video illustrating a typical day at the pool, highlighting various employees, their <br />responsibilities and tasks and the community programs offered. An Innovative Program <br />Award for the Safe Passage Program was awarded recently by the California Parks and <br />Recreation Society. Pearson answered Board member's questions and was thanked for <br />her informative presentation. <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded • Buss, and • 5-0 • approve the agenda <br />as presented. <br />A.
