Adopt Resolution 090524-A Finding and Determining that the :• •' <br />Community Park Skatepark Replacement Project is categorically exempt <br />from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Mooney reported that staff has been working on the redevelopment and <br />replacement of the Borchard Community Park Skatepark; due to necessary <br />planning approvals, this Board item is solely about CEQA exemption. Staff will <br />come back to the Board for construction approval. The exemption is based on <br />Class 1 and the District's consultant, Envicom Corp., agrees with staff's <br />recommendation. The plan is to go the City's Planning Commission early in <br />October for approval and to break ground in early 2025. Construction will take <br />anywhere from 2 — 5 months depending on weather. <br />
