The Second Amendment to the Option and Lease Agreement (Attachment 2) serves as the
applicable document to effectuate this change and accompanies this report for Board review.
The approved lease agreement stipulates that the equipment must comply with all environmental
and industrial hygiene laws. The original lease agreement and First Amendment can be found at
www.crpd.org/ATT_TOP.
T -Mobile Wireless
This is the first amendment to the T -Mobile Wireless Option and Lease Agreement that was
approved by CRPD Board of Directors in April of 2000. The amendment, irrespective of when
approved, runs concurrently with the original lease when the Option was exercised.
The current proposal includes upgrades to the antenna pole and cabling within the existing ground
conduit and vault. Modification of the facility includes removing existing antennas and tower -
mounted amplifiers (TMAs) between the antennas and replacing them with additional antennas
and remote radio units (RRUs) —see Attachment 1. To compensate for the visual impact on the
pole, the District will receive an additional $500, bringing the total current rent, once construction
begins, to $2,498.42 per month.
The First Amendment to the Option and Lease Agreement (Attachment 3) serves as the
applicable document to effectuate this change and accompanies this report for Board review.
The approved lease agreement stipulates that the equipment must comply with all environmental
and industrial hygiene laws. The original lease agreement can be found at:
viww.crpd.org/TMobii1e_TOP.
STRATEGIC PLAN COMPLIANCE
Meets 2024 Strategic Plan Goal: 3.2 Evaluate existing and seek new revenue sources to
enhance programming, property acquisition, park improvements, and capital facility
replacements.
Respectfully submitted by,
Andrew J.
