Authorize the General Manager to approve the second amendment of the existing Option <br />and Site Lease Agreement with New Lingular Wireless (AT&T) for upgrades of equipment <br />at Thousand Oaks Community Park. <br />2. Authorize the General Manager to approve the first amendment to the existing Option and <br />Site Lease Agreement with T -Mobile Wireless for upgrades of equipment at Thousand <br />Oaks Community Park. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Crown Castle, working on behalf of New Lingular Wireless (AT&T) and T -Mobile Wireless, is <br />proposing the modification of equipment for existing wireless facilities at Thousand Oaks <br />Community Park. <br />New Lingular Wireless (AT&T) <br />This is the second amendment to the New Lingular Wireless (AT&T) Option and Lease <br />Agreement that was approved by the CRPD Board of Directors in April 1998 and later amended <br />in January 2012 for additional equipment. The amendments, irrespective of when approved, run <br />concurrently with the original lease when the Option was exercised. <br />The current proposed amendment includes upgrades on the antenna pole and within the vault. <br />Modification of the facility includes swapping the antennas for larger antennas, remote radio units <br />(RRUs), and tower -mounted amplifiers (TMAs) between the antennas — see Attachment 1.
