June 20, ,4. <br />Page 2 <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Huffer, and carried 3-0 to approve the consent <br />calendar as presented. <br />%0 <br />A. Public Hearing Preliminary Budget FiscalTear 2024-2%-`-10 <br />Adoption of Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budgets <br />Nickles opened the Public Hearing on the Budget. <br />Smith stated this budget is the same as that presented at the last Board meeting on <br />June 6th. Smith reminded Board members that she will be coming back to the Board in <br />September to report on any capital projects that are not completed by June 30th; they wil, <br />be deemed carryover projects at that point. <br />Nickles closed the Public Hearing. <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Huffer, and carried 3-0 to adopt <br />Resolution 062024-A adopting the fiscal year 2024-2025 budgets for all funds, and <br />policy matters, contained in the body of and attachments to the memorandum, that <br />it be read in title only and all future readings be waived. <br />A. Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Final Budget <br />Fiscal Year 2024-25 <br />Smith reported being pleased that this is the earliest the MRCA has ever had a final <br />budget ready for adoption. She provided some highlights and details of the report. <br />and answered Board member's questions. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Cusworth, and it carried 3-0 to approve <br />the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority Final Budget Fiscal Year <br />2024-25 <br />Friedl reported that each year, CSDA offers the District the opportunity to cast a vot <br />for Board members to serve on its Board of Directors. Discussion ensued, with a <br />Board members expressing support for Elayne Magner. <br />
