There being no public present, Lange continued the <br />Public Hearing to the next Regular Board meeting on May 2, 2024. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Classification and Compensation Study <br />1 . Approve and adopt the recommended Job Descriptions. <br />2. Receive and file the Salary Survey Results Report as prepared by <br />Rewards Strategy Group (RSG). <br />3. Approve Side Letter Agreement to the Memorandum of Understanding <br />between Conejo Recreation and Park District and Service Employees <br />International Union, Local 721 adjusting employee compensation, as <br />outlined herein. <br />4. Approve and adopt the recommended Grade Structure to be effective <br />April 20, 2024. <br />Smith stated that Allen Crecelius with Reward Strategy Group (RSG) was in <br />attendance online and would be providing information as part of the presentation <br />to the Board; Adrianna Guzman, Esq. (online) and Shelly Howell (in the room) were <br />also available for questions. Smith reviewed the timeline of the Classification and <br />Compensation Study, which began in November 2022 with the selection of RSG <br />as consultants. She described the Classification Phase and its process, listed the <br />Titling Protocol, and referenced the classification changes. Job Descriptions were <br />changed to make them consistent structure -wise; they were then provided to staff <br />for review and some edits were made based on staff and union comments. She <br />reviewed the Timeline and process of the Compensation Phase. Crecelius <br />provided a summary of the salary and benefits survey, including how the data was <br />gathered and he gave an overview of the CRPD Salary Range Competitiveness <br />
