Ward said that Youth Outreach and other <br />programs could potentially be impacted due to state budget cutbacks. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Scott reported that the Cultural Unit's Young Artists Ensemble production of <br />The Little Prince will be presented April 11, 12 and 13 at Newbury Park <br />High School Performing Arts Center; RSVP will receive a grant of $6,000 for <br />emergency kits for low-income seniors; An Evening of Ballroom Dance <br />sponsored by the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley is scheduled for April 18 <br />at Hillcrest Center, the Therapeutic Unit will present the Therapeutic Spring <br />Day Camp April 21-23 at Old Meadows Community Center; at the Teen <br />Center the High School Concert on April 4 was attended by approximately <br />300 teens, the Spring Dance for 7th and 8th graders is scheduled for April <br />12, and during spring break excursions to Magic Mountain and a paintball <br />trip are planned; the annual Eggstravaganza is scheduled for April 12 at <br />Conejo Creek South Playfields; and a skateboard contest and other <br />activities are scheduled for May 31 at Borchard Center Skate Park. <br />In response to Jacobsen's concerns relative to the needs of seniors living <br />alone in times of emergency, Scott said that staff will investigate vendors <br />and the contents of emergency kits with that consideration in mind. <br />Lange said he was pleased to learn of the skate park event and the planned <br />activities. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen referenced the quarterly liability report and invited questions. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that the CVUSD/CRPD/City Inter -Governmental Relations <br />Committee will meet April 17, and the issue of Shapell, Rancho Conejo and <br />Dos Vientos development agreement funds will be discussed.
